SEBO E Series Now Landed in Germany

VacuumLand – Vintage & Modern Vacuum Enthusiasts

Help Support VacuumLand:

I like the look of the upholstery nozzle and the fact you don't have to use it with the crevice tool. I will certainly be getting the powerhead model but hope it will be white for the UK market as the black Sebo vacs I've owned showed every little scratch.

Thanks for posting the brochure and info sebo_fan. The new E series does look a nice vacuum cleaner. the Airbelt looks deeper and slightly more flush to the machine looking at the pictures. I see the electric power wand, handle, hose picture doesn't show the little connector cable. Probably not changed.

Lets try and keep politics out of this forum please, but turbo500, don't be so damn disrespectful and judgemental. I am a UKIP voter, I don't read the daily mail and I do believe we should get out of the EU, as do over half of the population in the UK if a referendum were held today (look it up, Yougov pol)I am not anti European, my late father was German and he and nearly every German I have met have the same viewpoint. Anti-EU is not uncommon now. Come to peace with it.

Marcus, I have a Sebo Felix eco with the 700 watt motor and I have found that the pick up performance is identical to the standard felix. The new motor in the eco apparently has more blades. It is quitter and produces substantially less heat than the 1300 watt model. All in all it is a nice improvement. The litres per second rating on both the 1300 and 700 watt models are identical. Apparently Sebo had this motor for a long time before these EU regulation were even proposed, but people would be discouraged from buying a lower watt motor, simply because the numbers are smaller.

Oh? That's interesting to know. As far as I know SEBO always had the 1300 watt model planned for their commercial model first (Dart) before the Felix was designed for the domestic market.

Secondly the X1.1 is the only model in the UK that features a lower motor - sales have been healthy for the X1.1, so I can't see that a lower motor would have been a problem in the Felix.

Info from the user manual

All of the E models have an automatic temperature control. If the machine is too hot the colour of the on/off button will change from blue to red. If the light is continuously red the power will be automatically reduced; if it flashes red it is because the vacuum has shut off due to over heating or a blockage. There's also a piston valve bag indicator.

Other interesting factor is that there are two filters as normal on this vacuum like the outgoing K series but SEBO offer a more conventional filter behind the bag like other cylinder vacs PLUS a new fleece hospital grade filter that seems to require to be unfolded from the back of the vacuum. Im not sure if the bag is an open texture or just a stitched fabric, but it is very intriguing in terms of how it is worded and shown in the user manual.
