I finally got an armature from a Heritage 1 donor today, that most unfortunately met an untimely end. I've found its armature is perfectly identical to that of the Omega and all its Classic counterparts, but not the 1-CR. The new armature is pictured in the Omega break down photo below. The Omega's production run was between 1973-76, and most gladly this Omega's heart beats again, for which I'm glad! I also put a Diamonds front bearings in, and it sounds really super smooth, which makes me even happier - now you know the rest of the story - good day.

I must agree,

Omega's are a great machine. At six amps it could mow through the deepest lime green shag in no time at all, and it looks good doing it too. What more in a machine could one ask for? Thank you so very much for all of your interest in this post. Thanks again, Calem
