Yesterday I decided to try and fit a Numatic Hepa-flo bag onto my Hoover Junior U1012 so I took the plastic face plate off the Hepa-flo bag and pushed it onto the Juniors top fill tube so now it will technically have HEPA filtration...
it was mentioned that they should have started making hepa bags in Ohio. Now, of course, it's too late. They didn't want to get them the machinery. It could have changed a lot of things.
I forgot you suggested this, so I thought I would try it. I tried to put it straight onto the fill tube out of the box and it wouldn't fit, the entire opening seemed to be the size of the fill tube but it would not go on, so I pealed the rubber seal bag and I saw this...
It is exccess of the bag from where the plastic face plate is stook on.
It was causing to much tightness for the hole I was trying to put it into (don't I know it!!!!) so I snipped into it all the way around with scissors so it would peal back when I pushed the bag on.
Here is a close up of how the bag is fitted to the fill tube and you can see I pushed the bags sealing tab back against the body of the machine so it is out of the way.
