Hoover Convertible HEPA Bags?

Hi folks. I have a Hoover Convertible Elite from circa 1977 and a top fill bag. I guess Convertibles are too old to get HEPA bags, so does anyone know if another type will fit?

Michael, if your Convertible uses the Hoover Type A bag, TTI does make a Hoover Type A HEPA Cloth bag you can buy for it. They come in a 2 pack. There are also generic versions online. Or. if for some reason you can't find the Type A HEPA Cloth bag, the Hoover Type Y HEPA Cloth bag will fit & work as well, & there are plenty of generic versions of it online too. The only difference is the Hoover Y bags are a little bit shorter, and on the genuine bags you will have to trim the collar a little bit if your bag holder is the "slide in" type instead of the "push on" type that came later.
