There are a couple things I noticed in Tayyab's video I didn't like. First, the center line of unswept dirt. Also, not liking that the front doesn't pick up well against walls. But for me what REALLY annoyed me was the dust cloud created emptying the cleaner! And the fact he had to push the wiper at least 3 to 4 times to get the rest out! Plus, the tool on the bin door gets in the way, so unlike the other Dyson V series stick vacs, you can't just so easily put it deep into a garbage can.

However, for me, one BIG REASON to avoid Dyson stick vacuums is how hard it is to take the cyclone apart and clean it. I took apart and cleaned a friend's Dyson V6 cyclone assembly as the vacuum smelled really bad. Separating the cyclone from the bin, rinsing out with hot water and letting dry overnight did not work - I had to take apart the entire cyclone, clean it out and reassemble. Considering how difficult it is to take apart and clean a Dyson V10 and later model cyclone assembly without breaking it, I cannot recommend for this reason alone! It's inevitable the average consumer will run into the same problem my friend did. This is the reason I much prefer my Shark Rocket HV381 over the Dyson-style stick vacs - just a foam and felt filter you rinse out every few uses and replace every 2 to 3 years. NO WAY will odours ever become a issue with it! Plus, when I compared to a Dyson V10 on it's medium power setting, my Shark was every bit as powerful.

I know a few in the UK that have the V16 and it may appear at the front of the floor head it’s comb vines it’s not its brushes which appear to help comb the hair off the cone shape brush bars. similar to the Wash G1 that has brushes behind the main rollers but they are spinning brush bars these are static!

Yes, I'll explain why they are that way when I review it.

Before I do a review, I'm contemplating a series of short videos to address the clockwork propaganda and wilful bad faith already circulating after the usual early misleading videos that always surface. So far, against plenty of evidence already out there, the inaccurate, desperate conclusions we have are: 'it doesn't clean hard floors' and 'it's noisy'—no reputable data provided, as usual. Very easy to debunk. There's also plenty of evidence of barrel scrape negativity and the usual regurgitated tropes—like dust clouds and smells revealing ignorance rather than a genuine problem. This is also why I'm waiting a bit before doing a review. Just waiting for all the cosmetic boils and pustules to form across the internet before I go in and clean up with a basic fact-check. Keep em coming!

This thread has 3-4k lurkers—it's more popular than most of the stuff on this forum, which is an interesting observation.
