Yeah but it's technically a bag it's a paper cone that you have to replace and it Is not no loss of suction doesn't separate The Dust from there airflow like the new Dysons do but I do like them as they look really cool

blakaeg - I haven't noticed a loss of suction with the new Ultra bags and I don't think anyone else has who has the Felix model and newer bags.

I think you friend needs to stop worrying and let the bag fill. The new bags actually increase filling to 15%. I've noticed it myself. I can get 4 months out of the newer Ultra bag compared to 3 months with the paper ones.

The only difference with the paper bags is that the dust falls to the bottom but ALSO the paper dust bags have extra layers of paper built in where dust clings to the sides like the newer filtrete material - you would notice this if you were to cut open a SEBO paper dust bag.

Also unlike the paper bags, the Ultra ones can actually be reused a second time by shaking it out and actually has the ability to turn inside out to be either vacuumed clean or brushed clean.

What a pity I can't seem to do that with Miele's GN bags. But then SEBO aren't out to rip their owners off...

DC28 vs. Fantom Thunder

Don't believe this video unless the Thunder isn't at the right height setting or has badly worn brush roller, and it is too dim to really see anything. I've used a DC33 and Thunder/Domestic many times, the Dyson brush roller isnt particularly effective on a lot of types of carpets, and I doubt a turbine one is going to be much better. It just seems like a lot to fork over for its ability, I can think there are probably better units for not much more.

The DC 33 is completely different to DC 28 DC 28 has more suction more agitation and better cyclone technology but I do wish we have fantom in the United Kingdom as they look so good

He's been out-gunned 84 times now. Did you never see the test I did with my Fantom and DC07? I sure as bwerk have factual evidence. I put the Fantom and Dyson up to the same amount of sand, 3 times. The Fantom won all three. You shouldn't make such claims without researching. A bag, water, rather you like it or not, ALL vacuums have a filter material, even Dyson. Dyson has filters, which means Dyson uses bags. Yep, that's right. A bag is a filter, and a filter is a bag. They both requirement replacement over time. There is no way of avoiding this. Bagless is nothing more than a fancy bag, as in bagless, filters require replacement.in bagged vacuums, bags require replacement...are you getting any of this or am I wasting my breath? You need to understand there's faults in Dyson, faults that can and will not be corrected until James loses money.

Oh, and power-nozzles rule, that turbo nozzle won't do a thing when it runs out of batteries! Before you know it, all Dysons will have that turbo nozzle, and they all will be cordless. Dyson says he cut the hassle of the cord, what hassle? It's going to be a HUGE hassle when the battery dies. Why wait for it to charge when I can have much-better cleaning power, on demand, and for as long as I want? I really need to throw better-built vacuums at my DC07 more often, maybe after 248 videos, the world will see that even the common Bissell can triumph over Dyson.

Ashley I did see your test for the Fantom and you use the machine that is discontinued and I don't make any more so that really isn't any evidence and I know The DC 07 isn't that good and also when I saw that video and you were doing the hose suction and the dc07 wasn't doing anything I think you must tampered or The machine was just broken there is the DC07 as it has more suction and Bagless machines don't have bags they have filters you can run under the tap and squeeze bags you have two replace and buy them And how many times have I got to say all bagless machines will eventuall lose suction if you don't clean the filter I know that Just Dyson doesn't let through as much as others and batteries cordless Dyson has nothing to do with this and bissell has nothing to do this either well is 4 o'clock in England and I've got to go to bed when you make a video of a Dyson DC 65 and the Fantom I will believe you

Ok Dyson boy, you have Deal. When a DC65 appears on my doorstep, I'll do the test.until then, I'm not giving Dyson my money. I never tamper with machines, the Dyson had the bin loose for that first second of the test. Guess why? It was broken, and even broke more during testing! I'm remaking the video with a better-condition DC07 when I have the chance. I saw 2 Dysons at the Flea-Market the other day, I might just have to buy one to prove a point!

DC07 vs Thunder

I have a DC07 as well. The Thunder will outclean it and the DC33 on carpets. The DC07 has great hose suction but balances terribly making it incredibly difficult to use tools with.

The a Fantom vs. Dyson evidence is just evidence that the cyclonic design can be applied more effectively to make a better cleaning machine. It isn't about being able to buy a Fantom. Dyson hasn't been able to devise a way to outclean a machine based on his technology in 20 years, or at least at a cost he likes, profit he wants or design direction he seeks.

EuroPro should just take the original design of the Thunder to China and start churning them out.

Others have made better cleaning bagless vacs as well, long before Dyson did. A single speed E Series Rainbow (and probably well maintained D4) will outclean the Dyson. Against the current ones? Forget it.

A good vacuum isn't just suction, brushroller, airflow, bagless or bags, it is good utilization of technology and combination of all factors.

Dyson took cyclonic technology and made it effective in a household vac. I commend him for this. They're amongst the more reliable discount store brands. I believe the Fantom Thunder is still the best utilization of the cyclongic design in a household vac. I believe the Rainbow to be the best cleaning of the commonly available bagless vac designs.

I believe many bag vacs will also outclean a Dyson, besides Kirby.

If the Thunder showed up once more in the isle of Wards, Kmart or Target,I would have to buy one in every color! The store would love me!

There's only one thing I commend Dyson for and that's the easy-access brush. Using coins instead of screws wasn't a half-bad idea. Only when you remove the brush, you're in for the worst belt change of your life!
