Royals branded DD both were 1038 with black adjust o rite bag was a red/maroon with an overall design and the dirt devil logo on top front of bag DD logo displayed on boxes some one here had to get them lots of bidders seen the outer bag sold from time to time

rebadging it as a Dirt Devil royal metal uprights have come up on ebay with the dirt devil label on them and there are hoover commercial windtunnels with the DD logo

i got new modern hoses for both by vintage luxs i consider this an upgrade the hoses are easier to use than the stiff originals and im sure they leak air but they display well i got a bunch of dvc made to fit tank vac bags few years ago and i use them in the lux XXX

due to the vacs on display at big boxers, 90+ percent are bagless, leads the average person to think this is a good thing, and they are the low end, eg cheap so they think that's what the average vac sells for im sure hoover sells more low end cleaners than high end, and we all know there is...

hoover tools are bojack i do like that word nice looking vac

i dont use my dysons much i like their sculpture look but have come to prefer a vac with a disposable bag easier to use and maintain

orecks have been sold in the jc penny catalog for years way before they were at target and online too

i have noticed a lack of infomercials from oreck, used to be they were on everywhere i do laugh when im on youtube and an oreck add is on the sidebar mining for a younger buyer? hint....target audience still watches tv

thanks to the sears and wards catalogs there are a lot of kenmores and wards around now the catalogs are gone more of the low end junk is in the big box stores
