Unusual UK Hoover Junior tool.

I have a 119 type general purpose brush which is in BLACK bakelite. Definately not sprayed as the screw lugs are cracked and you can see the colour running through the whole piece. I have never seen a BLACK nozzle of this type before, nor has my friend who has greater knowledge than I on vintage vacs. Can anybody answer this one ?

...like a brush for a post-war Junior 375 from the description - is it a push-on type, or does it have openings for spring-clips?
