Great vacuum. I have family in Navan, County Meath. I'vr been there 3 times.
I MUST get one of those "flip" floor nozzles. looks like an Electrolux.

Hi guys,

Sorry for the late reply, I've been busy with cleaning up my HMDL 3314L and Hooverette!

@al - Thank you ever so much for posting the user manual I must print a copy out this week. Is my 427 a gold colour or orange? I can't figure out to be honest because it looks orange in indirect light and gold in direct light! This cleaner indeed came from Northern Ireland. I like your blue model and the older models you have too. I would love a Freedom or Constellation now to be honest.

@vintagerepairer - I've seen two ways to store the cord on this model, around the end cap or around the handle and the back of the cleaner like I have done. It doesnt annoy me as such.

Thanks to the rest of the members for your comments it's nice to finally have a few cleaners to my name hehe!

Yours is definitely the gold one, you would know if it were orange LOLOL Actually if your Hooverette is a late one, its the same colour orange (pretty much) as that. What colour is your Hooverette by the way?

For US readers the Hooverette similar to the Lark stick model only it has a handle and actually a dustette type switch on the handle. Where is the switch on the lark?

Hi Al,

It plays tricks on me with the lighting but if you say it's gold I'll have to take your word for it because you have tons more knowledge of vacs than I do. My Hooverette is the first model in two tone turquoise.
