MY NEW VINTAGE KIRBY WEBSITE!

VacuumLand – Vintage & Modern Vacuum Enthusiasts

Help Support VacuumLand:

I don't have a dog in this fight and wasn't going to say anything, but I'm going to say something anyway.

It's absolutely jaw-dropping that someone would dismiss the entirety of odavid's brilliant Kirby web site and instead level criticisms about what that person perceives as "flaws."

Unbelievable.

I took a look, it's a great website!

Love the section that covers the details and styles of the dust bags. Those are some of the hardest details to make sense of, since so many Kirbys have gotten mis-matched and modified over the decades it's hard to tell what bag they actually had.

I have added more information on models 512 ,516 and model 508 to the site amongst other updates . Feel free the check it out . Also here is a pic of a beautiful 560 😊

If you have any booklets or info you’d like to share on the site for models DS50-Tradition models please let me know as I’m finalizing this category soon .

Nice going, David! Your Kirby website is a treasure trove for collectors, enthusiasts, and/or researchers.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge, background, and expertise without being overly-consumed with others reposting and using the information (although it's respectful and honest to cite one's resources for sure).

Your hard work and generosity are appreciated! Wow!

Yes!! Collecting Dust is a great website for the fans of Kirby.

I hope you will continue with the 70's and up models.

I came across the salesman literature for the Kirby Classic III.

I wouldn't mind sharing that information some how. I just don't want to give up the Original documents.

I hope others follow your lead with the other brands as well. We can not replace that history once it is gone.

I’m the process of adding more models and literature to my website . Here is a beautiful Classic CR with attachments .
Notice the Sanitronic “S” font pattern oh the boxes ? Doing away with the Sanitronic series …

Another interesting fact is that between the years 1970 ,1971 the classic came with the Roll-O-waxer , it was then replaced with the “Miracle waxer” in 1973 for a few months only making it the most rare attachment to find .

PS
If you have either for sale please contact me . I’d love to add it to my website .
