Hey Guys

It would appear the Satellite(Thats our new Constellation for those that didnt know lol) is while stocks last from our supplier. It has been reduced considerably to under half the original price and could happily retail at £75($150).

Needless to say Ive ordered one that shall stay NIB ;)

Seamus

Wonder if the Constellation is going to go the same way???

PANIC.

Methinks me must get one or possibly two of those then, one to play with and one to be NIB.

Call you later dude.

Clark.

At 10 this morning......

There were 69 left...

There are now 19 left...(4 odd hours later)

Whats the betting they will be gone by tomorrow :(

Maytag

Whirlpool, which owns Maytag, is no longer a corporate relative of the U.S. Hoover Company. (I mean...the North American Floorcare division of TTI Corp, Hong Kong.)

I'm guessing Maytag-Whirlpool no longer has the rights to sell this under the Maytag name.

Click the link below, by the way, for a truly shocking graphic. (Sit down and pour yourself a stiff drink first.)

Oh Frig -

On the same page as DIRT DEVIL?! This is a dark day in Vacuum Cleaner History. I'm actually going to hit my miniature airplane booze bottle collection and go sit in a corner...

We should be glad we still have the Hoover name to be honest..

maybe you'd prefer Guandong Province Electrical Equipment Manufactory Collective? :P

GPEEMC????????

Sounds almost like a fringe sect of the Borg!!!!!!

Long live the name HOOVER, and may the gods of all that vacuums bring back some of the quality they were reknown for!!!!

Amen!

PIC MESSAGE.

Seamus dude.

I did, just not yet had chance to reply.

Now I am excited. A BRAND NEW SATELLITE, NAY CONNIE BY ANY OTHER NAME, OF MY OWN!!!!!!!!!

I just picked up a Kirby G5, needing some TLC, but for £5 you cannot complain about a missing wheel and no life from the motor, as I have a nasty G4 working but tatty, so methinks a nice G5 would replace the tired old DC04 at home. I'll catch up with you nearer the weekend, not a whole load of time to myself for a couple of days! LOL, Same old same old.

Happy hoovering,

Clark.

That was my intent, Clark lol.

It's good that some things retain their character, even if that character is just the company's original name.
