I wish somebody had -- and would post -- manuals from Kirby's R series -- R, 2R, 3R and 4R.

In the next few days I plan to post various instruction books. Kirby on this thread (duh!) and Electrolux on another thread. As we spoke about a few months ago, the stuff you and I printed in various newsletters, as well as a lot of my personal stuff was shipped here from Indiana last month. At the moment I'm loading all this into my computer, (what a job!) but finally all this will be at my fingertips.
Yes I know some of my stuff won't take due to reselution setting too high, but the printer and computer are very old beasts, both need to be replaced a.s.a.p.. This computer is on it's last legs, freezes frequently and runs very slow, so I don't dare make changes in format. The new one will be programed right.
I'm glad to see you here, I think Vacuumland, and the Vacuum Cleaner Collector's Club are a good fit together.

Hi Ben.
I spent most of today loading in paperwork. Everything from early non electric machines like the one posted here, to a score of Electrolux patents. Tomorrow I load in my Kirby patents, and the Hoover patents later this week.
As for instruction books, I brought back several including a very old Air-Way booklet which is not in great condition, but the 1920's hairstyles is a real hoot!
The Kirby instruction books are the following. 511. 512. 514. 519. 560. Dual Sanitronic '80.' Kirby Classic. Kirby Classic Omega. Kirby Classic 111. Kirby Heritage. Heritage Renovation Group, both from 1981. Unfortunately I don't have the Turbo book. Loading all this in will take several days to load all this in so give me time to do all of it. Slowly but surely I will post all of them.
