There is a long and sordid tale behind the life of the red carpet I have down in my house. There is another rug just like it, but larger, that will go down once I get my new hardwood floors. They are installing next week. Now the rugs are mine, and my Hoover‘s clean them just perfectly. Here is my commercial model 91, made in the United States. Talk about a beast that will last forever. It’s so heavy, it makes you push it slower, resulting in an even better cleaning job. I love the original bag.

My 2 old dogs, just chilling out on a very old rug, kept spotlessly clean by two extremely old Hoovers. Not one dog hair left. On the left is the Hoover model 475, and on the right is “The Greater Hoover” model 700. 1935 on the left and 1926 on the right.

Make every home a Hoover home!

i have owned them all and they all work the best and they are the only units i use to clean my home with my convertibles.....i use the c1525 and the c1527 floormax uprights with the iconic beater bar agitator and metal bottom plate with the seal they are direct decendents of toms c1099 2nd from the left is unbeatable

I have never been the biggest fan of Hoover uprights, or uprights in general for that matter. I have a Caddy Vac ( the first vacuum I ever paid money for ) and a Breathe Easy, both in excellent condition but I never use them. So for reasons I cannot fathom I recently bought a Commercial Hoover Hushtone CH54113. To my amazement I like it and think it is going to be a durable vacuum. I trim the mounting card of a synthetic HEPA Y bag to fit the Hushtone mount since the only CU2 bags available are paper, but otherwise there doesn't seem to be anything to complain about and much to like. Seems very sturdy. The motor is from Domel and the wooden brush roll reminds me of something off an old Windtunnel. The handle and cord wraps are big and chunky. Seems like it was built to take some hard use. Time will tell but so far I'm liking it.

I have heard nothing but positive feedback from the movie theater that bought two Hushtones from me. I ordered them a case of the paper bags when they got the two machines, and they have not had any complaints.

Good girl Missy. Gooood girl. Border Collie mix?
Yes. She is mixed with greyhound, which makes a very strong and fast dog. She got out the front door on me once and was all the way down the street before I could barely turn around. She’s 13 years old now, so mostly she just sheds hair for the vacuums to pick up. I have no problem with that. She’s a very good girl.

tom did you know what agitator housing is in the hushtone ,,,,,,in 2014 our then commercial vp brent had me working with is top engineer in charge of the hushtone project ....due to the disaster the insight line was costing hoover a fortune .....then president gary scott authorized the creation of the hushtone line up....the windtunnel design agitator housing in the c1703 and c1705 would chronically block especially if the unit was run on wet or damp mats ...i suggested and sent for they were no longer available THE CONCEPT ONE AGITATOR HOUSING eric had built the base in both the 13 and 15 inch width to solve the base from clogging yet shaped like the concept one to distribute the suction just like a u3101 and thats why tom you love your usa hustone with the domel motor and i got one the earl hustones for me to test and it was pretty much what we have today
