I have a blue Hoover Celebrity QS S3183 that was given to me by an ex-friend. I want it out of here, so I'm wondering if anyone wants it for the cost of shipping. It was given to me, so I'm not looking to make anything off it, I just want to see it go to a good home where it will be appreciated.

It's a straight-suction model with wheels. Has the original hose, plastic wands, and attachments. The hose has a couple of spots where the spiral has seperated inside the hose, but it's airtight and works fine. The motor runs quiet and strong, but has the beginnings of bearing "grumble" on shutdown. If you're handy, it's a quick $4 fix.

Email me at [email protected] if you're interested. If nobody wants it by Tuesday morning, it's going out to the curb! I hate to be like that to a perfectly good vac, but this one's gotta get out of this house.

TRISTAR....your a good man. while in this crappy economy you choose to give away what you could make a little money on is somthing you dont see very often.....good job....im sure somebody will give this treasure a good home...although im not fond of cans...at all. i do give praise to the care you have given to your hoover...curbside isnt were this treasure belongs.a good home will come soon...

John,

I sent you an email.

Howard,

I'm not trying to be a saint here. I don't believe in profiteering off of something that was simply given to me. It's a machine that I received while I was good friends with someone who turned viciously on me. I want it gone and out of my sight. I know that a lot of people are fans of the Celebrity cans, so I figured I'd give it a chance here first. I don't dare take it to that thieving Salvation Army here. How they can sleep at night for the prices they charge blows my mind! I know the people who run the one here.....with their salaries and how the shop is run, I know something crooked is going on down there...

TRISTAR....understood. and yes ive noticed and heard quite a few thrift/salvation inside secrets as a close friend used to write there insurance for them...u have no clue how bad the public is getting F**K*D!!AND WHAT WERE REALLY PAYING FOR...and in time youll see that u made someones day...you allowed them to have something they might not have been able to afford ...and made a new friend...a better one. u took a bad memory and turned it into a good memory for someone else..to be honest with you just about all the people i know or deal with in day to day life would have that vac on ebay in a second....so think of it as giving credit where credit is do....AND...think of this..in a buyers eye you are now a notch or two above the rest when you ever put an item up for sale..as a seller not looking to stick it to ya...a seller you can trust.....so as you can see a couple good things have come from this....
