I wonder if this is a power nozzle issues or a canister issue. Does this model have the lighted PN that Royal used in the 90s, or is this the new style PN? Regardless, the whole situation is just too bad.

looks like its only the FQs with the 360 style PN but not sure. I hope my brown K31X & K88 PN are fine.

update

Hi,

I have one of the Majestic 360 Filterqueens that are recalled. I talked with Health Mor and the problem is with the hose, wand and power nozzle. I need to send in my power nozzle and hose. They don't want the wand and will send me a new wand when they fix my power nozzle and hose. Now my delima is this. I bought my Filter queen off of Ebay so I am not covered under warranty but they will repair it and send it back for a fee. I opted to go back to the old style power nozzle, wand, and attachments that are still being manufactured, as I didn't particularly like the new style anyway. They did give me a discount of about $80.00. My total bill was around $459.00 with shipping and tax. I live in Ohio.

I know this sounds like sour grapes, but this is the last time I buy a Brand New In The Box Major Brand off of Ebay. I will stick to my local distributors.....

I think you probably could have bought a used hose and PN for less than half of what Filter Queen charged you. You might have to look around for a while, but one would have tuned up eventually. In general I suspect that you would still end up spending less, even with the $459 for repairs when you buy on ebay.

At the end of the day, thats got to be the most expensive PN on the planet. Its just stunning, especially considering that its not all that special in the design department, at least to my knowledge.

I'm buying a 360 FQ (canister only) from eBay but I'm getting the strait suction tools (non-powered rug nozzle, floor brush, 2 curved wands) b/c I have no carpet 2 vacuum with a PN.
