See video accompanying my linked article. Addressing the magnetic attraction of dust to surfaces was as impressive to me as the new compact high rpm motor. Of course blowing the useless Ergorapido out of the water is practically a given, but put these ideas in an upright without flimsy, easily broken plastic, well i might someday be driving a Dyson.

I would like to see Dyson and other makes of cordless vacuums equipped with removable battery packs that can be charged on a separate charger-like with most makes of cordless tools-this allows you--to keep working as the other battery is charging,and easy replacement of batteries as the battery fails-all will do this eventually.At the vac place near me--see Dyson,and other cordless vacs waiting in line to have their hardwired batteries replaced.I am surprized that Mr Dyson and his design engineers don't realize this.The Dyson V6 motor spins about as fast as some dental drills.The dental drill is an amazing device--air and water cooling-both the drill and tooth,and air powered-runs from a standard air compressor with additional filtering to keep out dust and moisture from the air.If such things got into the tiny air drill motor-it would be wrecked-these handpeices cost like $1500 on up-some even have LED "headlights" powered by a tiny generator turned by the drill's motor!Would be neat to see the Dyson motor packaged not as a dental drill-but as a super "Dremel" tool!!

What about the DC16! And I suppose technically the DC06 was cordless.

I'd still love a DC59 just my bank balance wouldn't!
