Well walked into goodwill & stayed away from electronic section
then I heard a vacumn in the distance so decided to check it out.

I found an Eureka & a Riccar which I immediately recognized as a good brand so I grabbed it & walked over to a plug to test it out
pretty quiet
suction seemed fine
cleaned a section of the carpet
brush roll had life
sounded ok

Darn I was smitten
Had to take it home
like I need another vacummn

LOL

Going to clean it up then take a pic
Its an upright model 2100 & it says Hi Performance model 2100 for hotel use

Anyway now to get my hands dirty & give it a test run...

Uses U or U3 bags
picked up some at the 99 cents store

Anyone know about the model
I guess for $25 I can't go wrong

Pic

Did a quick clesn not taking motor section or bottom plate off.

light bulb isn't working
have to see what kind it is.

14 inch wide path

only problem cord had a cut so I taped it w electrical tape

Works pretty nice...

Must be a good vac, it's a Panasonic and you know how many of those I have. I'm not familiar with the rebranded Riccars though. I wonder how much of a premium they sold for over the Panasonic. Does it have the 3 prong cord which the commercial Panasonics have?

No has a reg 2 prong cord.
I have a purpel Panasonic does a great fluff job
but its plug/even cord gets warm so something might be wrong with it

Darn thing is the bag in it said U or U3
I bought U & they are too big so I folded it
it works
but darn I bought 5 packs at the $1 store

Heres the panasonic mcv 5325
well it was realy $20 without the bags
I hope it was worth it

bulb is smaller than a kirby bulb & 130V 15 W
have to try to find it the bulkbs blown

The U3's the right one. I'd have thunk a hotel vac would be grounded aka being commercial and all. Unless it's double insulated.

re the warm cord.. not necessarily anything wrong..many of my vacs get warm plugs.

another close up of bottom
They had the U3 at the 99 cents store but the quality seemed to be not as good
the U were white & blue & the U3 were yellow

they work
I think I even use them with the panasonic
I just fold the bottom

tok off the bottom plate
took brush roll out
cleaned everything & reassembled
still there ia a rear belt guard
wasn't sure how it went back
same thing w hose but had to retape it as it had a split

Anyway its back together & has more suction
didn't get into motor compt
not sure how
tried to take out 2 screwa but it didn;'t come apart
may be more screwws under the bag area..
oooh well
did my best w limited time
can't spend forever on a vac...

LOL
