It seems to be the way to go, Mr Murray. I can't say I like it either. What did make me chuckle was when I went on a coach trip recently to an out of town shopping centre with some of the other residents in my building. A small car roared straight past us, and when I say roar do I mean roar, with two young gentlemen in the front seats looking mighty pleased with themselves. I do think they possibly thought they were a sight to behold. In contrast, the message they sent out was somewhat in contradiction to the image I expect they hoped to portray, and the lady in front of me, one of our younger members, muttered "What a pair of" and used a term which I can't print here, other than to say we all own one. At least I hope we all do. I did chuckle.
The funniest part came though when they got stuck behind a car in the lane to our right, who wanted to do a right turn and was holding the traffic back until such time they could do so. It reminded me of a time when I saw a car which was so badly designed that it was almost sitting on the road as it was so low, making it impossible for the driver to get over a speed bump he'd come up against. I did pity that driver, especially when a group of young ladies in short skirts walked past and pointed at him and laughed.
