Here's a Bissell y'all don't remember: Butler Revolution.
buster1849 I know you don't like canisters, so what do you think?

Bissell reviving the Butler name is redundant when the Zing already exists and can do the same thing.Very nice! I do remember that machine quite well. And the original Bissell Butler canister was quite popular here in Canada, probably because it was a low priced straight suction canister sold in Zellers.
Bissell's canisters were made for them under contract by Samsung. I found one that I took apart for parts because I wanted the motor - the single stage Samsung motor will pull 100" waterlift, it will match a straight suction Miele for cleaning performance. As for the attachment on the wand, that's called a Cyclonic Bag Saver attachment. It's good, in theory at least. Yes, it will capture the large, bulky dirt particles and carpet fibres and pet/human hair, BUT it still sends the fine dust to the bag which eventually clogs with fine dust and needs replacing.
I like the Bissell Digipro. I have two really nice examples ( one for show and one for go ) along with it's gorgeous metallic blue Samsung Digimax twin, but I am weird for Samsung vacuums in general. Superior Vacuums of Calgary and Hibbert International also in Calgary sell a good quality synthetic HEPA dust bag for them and still stock exhaust filters. The Canadians seemed to like Samsungs more than their southern brothers in the "lower 48" as they call us.I never liked the looks of these Samsung made Bissell cylinders. They look cheap and tacky to me.
The Power Partner 6800 even has a blower port !There was also the PowerPartner 6800 with the Plus variant, which was also made in Korea thanks to Samsung. An eBay listing of that unit says it's from 2002.
The ProPartner 3580 came from the year 2000, but it was made in China like every Bissell not designed by Samsung. An eBay listing said so.
As for the dark blue OG Butler, all info I found online for it are replacement bags.
Which gives off serious Eureka Mighty Mite vibes. The Power Partner 6800 even has a blower port !
The Mighty Mite has been around over 40 years at least. It was originally a Eureka model that was also sold by Sanitaire. They were made at the Eureka plant in Mexico for the longest time. When Electrolux Group sold Eureka to the Midea Group the Mighty Mite went along and is now made by Midea. But the Sanitaire version also remains in production, now in Vietnam, under Bissell ownership, though it is not called a Mighty Mite by Sanitaire. Great designs just don't die and the Mighty Mite is true to its name.I bet those straight-suction Bissell canisters were ideal for small apartments and large homes with no carpeting, alongside the Hoover Telios from the era.
But in all fairness, I'm grateful the Bissell Zing exists for the same reason and that I own one. I bet finding bags for the Butler and PowerPartner/ProPartner series is nigh-impossible.
Is Eureka Forbes still making and selling old Electrolux copies? I don't see them on their website.Yes, Electrolux Sweden machines from the 70s live on with eureka forbes. Kirby lives on. Rainbow lives on. And many, many more.
Currently unavailable. It's not available anywhere I have looked and not on the Eureka Forbes website. I'm thinking they are out of production now.I will link a photo and hopefully a link. The amazon link says currently unavailable, though I have seen it a few other places too.

Wow. Only 85 Euros. Are the bodies on those steel like the original?
I'm building a garage in the US with a couple of 240 outlets so I can have a few European vacuums like that in the collection. One of these Euroclean models is on the someday list. The description on a few other websites (these seem to come in and out of stock regularly) that didn't have them in stock stated that they had a steel body. Very good deal if the motors are alright quality. It appears that they use or used a bag system similar to in the nz z55-z338 models.
