Can anyone think of any Kirby vacuums that had features available only in Europe, but not here (in the U.S.)? Besides, of course, the mandatory 220/240V electrical setup.

That makes me curious as to finding out whether or not Kirby also sold the Heritage/Legend series with both the normal 16" and small 13" wide heads here in the U.S. as well.

I'm not sure about the exact origins of the small Sanitronic-style Heritage power nozzle. I've always just assumed it was a very rare option (much like the rarely seen dump/shake bag assembly for the Heritage II) and I've never heard that it was a regional thing.

The Generation 3 came out much later in Europe than it did in the U.S., and I've often seen 1991 Legend II machines that came with red G3-style attachments on eBay UK.

Kirby currently has a standard brush-style bare floor nozzle for the Sentria that is supposedly sold in Europe, but it can be ordered from Kirby in the U.S. (part # 932806). I'm not sure if it comes standard with the machine over there, or if it's just an option.

It looks like this...

Hi

Hi Ben, As far as I'm aware there was no features available in Europe that wasn't out in the USA. We had the optional smaller heads available but they was very rearly sold over here as the salesmen at the time probably didn't metion them at the time to the customer.

I believe we had the Kirby Legend II till mid 1992 which is one of the main reason we don't have loads of Generation 3s over here but loads of Legend IIs.
The later run of Legend IIs had Generation 3 style tools in the Generation 3 colour.
Looked awful lol.

Handheld vacuum cleaners

Handheld vacuum cleaners are ideal for cleaning small spaces in home, garage and inside vehicles where a larger vacuum is more difficult to manoeuvre. A hand held vacuum is able to pick up a lot of dust in a home. A poorly maintained one can lead to dust and debris being spread around your home even more.

It is important to find a hand held vacuum which is more powerful and efficient. Generally hand held vacuum cleaner is noisier than normal vacuums. There are some tasks for which they’re ideal, such as cleaning the inside of a car or small household messes so it’s not need to drag out the large vacuum.

duh! so new!

natarajan, I guess your contribution is close to the verge of spam, isn't it?
Nothing Kirby, nothing new.
Just some generic bla like "blue sky means good weather, grey sky means there are clouds".
Fantastic.
Let alone this web adress having a .biz ending.... *rolling my eyes in their sockets here*

I'd think now, the only Euro-exclusive part was that the Legend II's attachments, in the final years of the model over there (1990-92), were the maroon-colored Generation 3 attachments.

That is perhaps the only aspect I'd never find for our Kirby models here in the USA.
