I suppose this topic could go into any decade range.

Has anyone ever bought more than one Kirby brand new, on the same day?

His great-grandmother performed the rare feat of purchasing two (!) Kirby Heritage II Legend cleaners: one for cleaning carpets with the nozzle, and the other for above-the-floor cleaning (hose).

Now, this kind of purchasing may be rare enough, but now I want to find out if anyone ordered two Kirby Heritage/Legend series, that is one with the standard 16" nozzle and the other with the small 13" nozzle? Heck, a holy-grail purchase would be of three Heritages, one for carpets, the other for attachments, and the third for shampooing.

I have had people buy 2 rainbows at once, they got one for upstairs and one for downstairs. ;) a couple of weeks ago a friend had a person buy 3, 2 were for his funeral home and another for his house. that made for a lovely commission.

When I was a little boy, my mom was the music director for a large church in Virginia. One day when I was there while Mama was working with the organist on music, I wandered off to look for "the sweeper." I found the janitor, who showed me his large cleaning & supply closet. There was a huge electric floor buffer and two 518 or 519 Kirbys. (I remember that they had red circular plastic belt lifters and speckled bags.) They were stored with their handles in half-down position as they were in an alcove which is the underside of a stairway.

I bought two Kirby Ultimate G when they came out-Both bought for half off-two for the price of one!!!When I was selling TriStars-did the same. One customer bought two machines-upstairs-downstairs.
