This one came from a shop that is being turned into a hair salon .The shop used to be a shoe shop and i can only imagine that the machine has been used regularly to clean both the shop and the offices above as they all have thick green quality very old carpet the bag was two thirds full of green fluff and the usual dirt .The bag is in nice condition but more of that later .The green fluff and what appears to be plaster went all the way down into the fan chamber .So time for a strip down the usual stuff motor out strip down and clean .The brush roll is in nice condition with original brush strips .The handle has had a new hand grip at some point but unusually its a brown one as opposed to the usual white thing .Ok a few photos of the strip

and reassembled .It runs really well [amazing what a bit of oil and grease can do isnt it]All the other bits are going to have a wash once their clean i can get it put back together .The commutator has been cleaned with Brasso i know some people use emery cloth or sand paper personally i wouldn't put anything abrasive near a commutator .OKguys thats it for now more later
