Kirby G3 handle fork

I have a G3 and G4 ( out of my 15 or so Kirbies) with a handle fork that is loose. I mean the metal bit right at the end of the handle and the bit that it locks into are a very loose fit. The G3 has an extreme amount of play and the G4 has a decent bit of play.
