I've been quiet on here lately, haven't I?

So, picked her up from the British heart Foundation for £30. Meh, a little bit more than I wanted to pay for the oldie but seeing how she came with a genuine extension hose ( that I've been meaning to get for a while) and these models hold a few memories, I thought I might as well get her.

Before photos as per usual, followed by afters.

And before clean up video too ~

Random Photo

On her journey home :P

Didn't half get some odd looks while carrying her through the city center and on the bus lol.

So, I started with sorting out the bag door, then removing and stripping the handle. Witch was a pain in the ehem.

Also, apologies for my legs getting in the way in multiple pics.

Featuring "hidden" metal clips for the tools which where later changed to partially visible plastic clips on the X1.1 and so on. Personally I prefer the metal clips.

Lets hope I don't start a "war" by slipping in a opinion. . .

The tools are in pretty good condition. A few scratches on the crevice tool but nothing major. I've had worse! Also, if you look closely on the upholstery tool, you can see the little metal brush strip has rust on it.

Pre motor filter removed for washing.

The reason I washed it is because I'm not going to be using this machine much and both filters are in OK condition, so I'm not going to bother replacing them yet.

Now onto the sweet spot!

Now the true fun begins! Based off of previous experience it looks like she's been stored in a garage for a while.

It looks like she's came from a smokers home due to where the filter isn't caked in carbon dust, it's slightly tar stained. Same can be said about the hose as it has this ever so light yellow tint which is more visible in person.

Some unfortunate deep gouges which I don't think T-cut's going to remove. But, it's to be expected so hey ho!

Removed the wheels and caps only to find all these really odd "lint balls"

Are these supposed to be here or what?

Also, showing some marks that accumulated on the caps. This on was the worst. My fingers don't half look dry! Ignore the scar on my index finger.
