For the price of two Oreck XL21s, You could get a Kirby Sentria with attachments/shampooer. The Kirby Sentria outcleans and outlasts the Oreck XL21.

I recommend the Riccar SupraLite/Simplicity Freedom uprights over the Oreck XL21/Oreck XL uprights. The Riccar/Simplicity has a 5.5 amp motor in it vs a 4 amp motor in the Orecks. The Riccar/Simplicity has a larger fan in it vs a smaller fan in the Orecks.

In my opinion, The Kirby/Rainbow/Filter Queen outcleans and outlasts the Oreck XL21/Oreck XL uprights!
