I have to agree about the GE. Those are somewhat uncommon machines and usually sell for serious dough whenever a nice one is listed on eBay. And yes, they do weigh a ton! You might want to consider going back to the estate sale tomorrow if it's still open. It would be a shame to let this one go...

Yes, that's definitely the original hose. You'd think they would have used something else more appropriate than brown... not that it looks bad, but I just have to wonder, why brown?

Here's my Electrolux 86 that I got from Doug in Canada when he was in the area a while ago. I traded him my Lewyt 88 for it. This is one of my favorites since it's quiet, powerful, built well, looks good, and it's easy to maneuver. It has all of the original tools and braided hose with it as well.

In March 2009 a guy on eBay was selling a whole bunch of NIB Compact C8's. He had some with PN's, but the green ones with the Turbine-nozzle were $150 buy it now if I remember correctly. I bought one of the green ones also. His dad or grandpa or somebody he knew used to be a Compact dealer and...
