my Aunt Jean had a Pink GE and its the same hose that was on her's , these are very durable!

Yes, that's definitely the original hose. You'd think they would have used something else more appropriate than brown... not that it looks bad, but I just have to wonder, why brown?

Hard to say, someone thought it went with pink! But its nice and long, and extremely durable!

<span style="font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva; font-size: medium;">The pink G.E. did originally come with a brown hose. Which, yes, I agree is odd - especially since the rubber bumper around the rim of the wheel-caddy was gray.</span>
