My new eco Henry HVR 200-A2

Thought I would jump on the band wagon.. Here is my new little mate. Managed to pick him up for just under £63 delivered. How freaking quiet are these bad boys!? Does anybody know the part number for the cone shaped hose? John just has the standard one.

    Has anybody watched these videos..

Thank you for the input sebo_fan I think the power and silence is what i find appealing. I bought a used one a while ago of eBay, but it had been damaged in transit so it was sent back and forgot about them.

    Has anybody watched these videos..

Obviously they are promoting Electrolux/AEG. It's worked on me, I'm in the market for an Ultraone now! If you have some time to kill check out all the videos on this channel. I'm now all kinds of confused about air watts and HEPA filtration. LOL

    Sanitaire in the UK

I was really disappointed with my felix's performance on hard floors. I didn't rate it at all. (That was with the powerhead and brush switched off) I really liked the machine otherwise. I find the X1/4 machines pretty good on hard floors. There is knack all room between the baseplate and the...

    Dyson filter soiling issue

Does anyone have much experience.. With the Vax air3? Sometimes the cyclones capture everything. Other times it lets a whole bunch of crap through in one use. I should of taken a photo after using it today, the filter was choked, I mean caked in dust. But it was clean before I started. I...

    Dyson filter soiling issue

I would suggest checking the seal at the bottom of the inner cyclones, where it meets the flap. Apart from that, get on the phone to Dyson and have them send you out a new one! This is not what you have paid for. Albeit I do think that the DC07, DC14, DC41 seperate dirt better. From...

    New Samsung Trio

Littewoods has it in stock for the tasty sum of £519. Somehow, at that price I don't think I will be rushing out to order one

Dyson DC24 Loss Of Suction. Cyclone Seal Issue

Dude! I am an advocate of Dyson, but the trouble you have had with this machine is ridiculous. I have seen this on a DC33, yet not so severe. Just black disks left on the pre motor filter. Have you had that? I know the DC24 is pretty slack when it comes to dust separation, but the amount of...

Dyson DC25 or DC50 which cleans better?

Super-sweeper It would seem you have no interest in Dyson, that is fine. As this thread is about them I suggest you stop commenting - it's childish.

    Suction Only Floor Heads..

Quick question.. Does anyone know the reason for the small velour strips/lint pickers on suction only floor heads? Why aren't they designed to cover the full width of the floor tool? Maybe they aren't effective toward the edge so they don't bother? Who knows?

DC04 Constant Max filter wash indicator,, for baglessball

Hey Matthew, Thanks for that. Now I will sleep better tonight 😜 I wonder if the average user would pay attention if it was on a conventional machine?

A few pics of my Dyson and Vacuum cleaner collection.

Hey Matthew, Thanks for that. If you do a vid of the indicator, let me know :) I like all the ball cleaners, but for usability I probably have a preference towards the newer machines like the DC40/41 due to them being less bulky. Plus I have a really deeply piled shag rug, and those machines...

Here is a really good idea...?

We also get.. The Thomas Genius Aquafillter, amongst a few others. On another note, fleece vacuum bags do stink! To kill the odour, vacuum a little bit of bicarbonate of soda every few uses. It works really well. What makes the smell worse is when the vacuum is left unused for long periods...

Oh! And dyson89, nice collection! And I have a question for you too! The filter wash indicators on the DC04 constant Max's, does it work well? How much does the suction have to drop before it kicks in? Does it come on when you cover the hose? Do you have any pictures of it? And in the filter...

A few pics of my Dyson and Vacuum cleaner collection.

Hey Tom, have I read that wrong or is there a cyclonic 1936 Rexair machine? I am interested to see. Chris, on a few occasions I have seen that you mention that James Dyson created a problem that didn't exist. Where did you get that information from? From what I remember, for a lot of people it...

the most weird dyson in the world

Hey Citroenbx, What are the end caps like on the end? There were three versions, the C like style, the D style (which I have never seen, and I am wondering if this is them) and the commonly O style. I don't know the actual part number, as you have probably realised. I am using the...

    Hoover Vortex

I think it is like the Dual Cyclone, the only difference being that sort that exhausts the central cyclone is redirected to go through that stage again. I may if read somewhere about it being a similar design to some sort of oil filter? It works pretty well :)

    Hoover Vortex

I think that.. That filter was just to stop the larger particles of hair and fluff entering the motor. However, I'm sure with the large ducting down the side of the machine that hoover could of used a bigger and better standard filter in there. I imagine you are right Steve. The selling point...
