Help Support VacuumLand:

Because none of us like stick vacuums and aren't willing to spend buckets of money on one. Also most of the people of this website are in America. (hence why I use imperial measurements) It is impossible to "deep dive" into a machine that no one other than a few owns.
I enjoy Dyson stick vacuums and have used their products in general. But I'm not gonna blindly defend them either.

V16 has some good technologies but also seems to suffer from some design problems.

FrickHelms video showed a lot of dust in the filter chamber. That's terrible. So it's not just the cleaner head. Problems all around.

It feels like the V16 is a prototype that they didn't finish yet.

This forum is ignorant!

Why can't anybody deep dive into the machine?

If somebody’s wanting to buy me one, I do what I consider a deep dive on it.

Of course, my deep dive would not be a scientific one, and I suspect a lot of folks would not like the results, no matter what I would find.

I meant none of us as in there is only a few people saying SOME good things about it while most others have shown on this thread and others that they don't like/love dyson's.

Dear everyone... I have told TechRadar. They noticed me, so I replied. About time I try teaching reviewers like these the proper ways, as @Vacuum Facts intended. But surely, hardly anyone would wait for any fix to arrive, so @Vacuum Facts delaying the V16 review to 2026 wouldn't just sting, it would NUKE. There's a good reason (and no bad reason) I did stuffs such as asking for the necessary mod. You know the drill.

It's not quite that. There are good technical explanations for the things people have seen cosmetically that make the V16 weak as a product but no one seems to have figured out why. There are dozens of reviews now. Dozens. And not a single one has connected the dots and shown why various things are happening with that product. That to me is far worse than any failures that Dyson are guilty of. It illustrates the serious failure of the internet and social media and those contributing to it. The sheer scale of that failure—which is the worst thing of all and deserves more criticism that anything by far—is getting a free pass. The V16 has been a rare opportunity to expose this deficiency and it too will be hammered in my review, along with Dyson.

And I'm helping you out by calling said reviewers out.

It's not helpful. At all. Speaking in my name in the way you are just sullies it, especially when you are getting things completely wrong. You don't understand enough to speak in my name. Kindly stop.
Is it because I unintentionally and always misunderstanding you, @Vacuum Facts? Are you sure I'm useless? You have helped me so I help you back, even if you're not grateful and accusing me of everything. "You're getting things completely wrong", even the basics I could and can only get wrong? This is not the case, @Vacuum Facts. I read your lecture, I watched your videos, and you shouldn't be shoulder-ing your burden alone. Best of lucks, just make sure you're not burnt out.
This is such a funny thread.
It is a cliffhanger that goes in circles :ROFLMAO:
True! Could've been avoided if Vacuum Facts or a trustworthy reviewers cut the metaphorical knot and just, y'know, do the job for everyone!

Vacuum facts, how is one supposed to learn when you simply say to trust you and won’t even believe someone that watched your “lecture”, that is a bit confusing to me. I don’t think this is going anywhere anymore sadly.
This is what @Vacuum Facts himself ultimately falls short. He is very objective and very knowledgeable, but sadly he is very obtuse and apparently secretly flips out the moment there's any hint of misinformation within any of us - I'm a clear example, @centralsweeper63, for he told me that I got things completely wrong, as if I've never watched his lecture or any of his reviews ever. Is it any wonder why people struggled to understand him? I outright called TechRadar out directly for the V16 floorhead is not a big issue, and yet Vacuum Facts outright dismissed my "stunt", claiming that I am not helpful and calling me completely wrong! That response above is a main thing he got wrong - a sad flaw to his otherwise extremely objective takes and informative explanations. I like him and tend to agree with him, by myself and not merely out of my obligation (I could've subscribed to him but I didn't).

For all the ignorance and the BS-ing the entire forum has suffered, @Vacuum Facts is sadly guilty, but of his way of teaching us how to do stuffs properly (except for the airflow measurement and the actual deep cleaning test methodology, though @cheesewonton has opinions regarding the former).

Vacuumfacts, could you please list the EXACT process you use for testing as you think it is the best. I have tried to do this yourself so I would love to hear your side. I haven’t fully watched your “lecture” as it seemed a bit pointless.

Vacuum facts, how is one supposed to learn when you simply say to trust you
I think I missed where I said to "trust me". Could you please provide a link to where that was said so I can distinguish it from utter nonsense? I don't expect people to believe anything without evidence.

and won’t even believe someone that watched your “lecture”
I'm not sure what you're referring to.

I have been thinking that I would try a v16 IF and ONLY if it was not $1750.
I don't believe that is its price.

It's in the review videos. Fine dust is dry microsponge dust previously extracted from cleaning with wide range of particle sizes. Mass increase is of machine measured. Then the analyses are produced as shown and interpreted.
I haven’t fully watched your “lecture” as it seemed a bit pointless.
That video explains everything about how vacuum cleaners work and the parameters often used to measure various aspects of them. If you found it pointless, well, not much I can offer to help further.
