No doubt it’s reference to new updated cleaning tools:

On the other hand, DS60 Piston Animal is compatible with accessories that will be released in the future, such as a deep cleaning kit that can meticulously clean carpets and furniture, pet grooming kits, and extended reach kits that can clean hard-to-reach places by considering various cleaning habits and environments. In the future, a docking station with automatic dust removal function will also be released to provide a more convenient cleaning experience for users who need a larger dust can capacity.

Something I was really surprised to see is how huge an unswept path there now is in the middle of the head! I'm going to be very interested to see whether this becomes apparent in the cleaning data. I really wasn't expecting this based on what I was reading during its development. I wonder how this final version was reached. I expected the wide end of each bar to mate flush in the centre. I suspect it was to prevent hair getting into the roller mechanisms from what I recall. Still, some other very interesting features on this head I'll cover in the review.

I'm sure they're well-intentioned but these reviews are frustratingly cosmetic. The technological advancements are just wasted on most...

The head looks to run at the same 100 W

Yeah all the reviews on that website, I think are from influencers or something. So they're not very in-depth on the various features sadly. If you search "다이슨 DS60" on the website you can find a lot more, but they all say mostly the same thing. It is good for close-up photos though of the attachments.

I was surprised to see the unswept path was but let’s see how it performs. It’s not as big as the Vorwerk Kobold on there floor head. I suspect there is a reason for it.
Great videos to watch off the official website too. I was wondering there is no side suction channels on the main floor head unless I’m missing it. Or the clear sides are slightly raised for this purpose.
Even so the new floor head looks interesting and love you can remove the clear cover on it to clean. I see on both cone brush bars there is 2 row of spiral bristles one appears to be the fluffy brushes and the other the stiffer nylon.

I'm hoping with the unswept path and the cone shapes that if you remove them they're won't be any built up dust underneath which has been a problem on their carpet heads for awhile now.

Dust likes to get trapped where the brushroll connects on the drive mechanism. It's not a huge problem if you slide the brush roll out occasionally and clean it but it would be nice if you didn't have to do that anymore.

Not my picture, screenshot from YT video. Although this guy seems to never service his vacuum as it looks pretty rough, but just an example of what i'm referring to.

From experience all brush rolls that attach to a drive system has dust build up some more than others. Can’t see a way of stopping that without some seal which would wear and need replacing. Longs occasional checks and cleaning are carried out not that it causes issues I have found.
With the cones they are easy to clean as they show in the video more so over other brands set up.

Hopefully the thin unswept path won’t be so much of an issue cleaning wise.

Yeah I am very curious about the carpet cleaning performance in general. I also hope the new head is just as good as the older fluffy heads.

My initial concern is with the head having both fluffy bristles and carpet bristles. I hope it's not a jack of all trades master of none situation. And I do wonder how the fluffy bristles are going to fare on the carpet when the Dyson increases the brush bar speed. I hope they don't wear out quickly.

Personally I would have liked if they included fluffy cones you could swap out, but I imagine that's not very cost effective and too much hassle for the average consumer.

It also looks like the dirt inlet where the dirt enters the bin is a lot smaller in size compare to the current set up. Another thing that looks smaller is the built in crevis and dusting brush. And from what it looks like, it looks like the bottom of the wand also has a built in crevis and dusting brush combo tool. I do hope they have an outsize variant or one with a different color scheme because the gold isn't doing it for me. Hopefully they do offer a non submarine option for us here in the united states. I think that sumarine attachment is a bit gimmicky. I'm also curious to how much itll cost us american consumers.

I'm assuming since they're advertising the dirt compactor allowing more bin size that the outsize model might be dead.
