A commercial Kirby G series machine with a Sanitaire brushroll and shakeout bag would be awesome!

My BarrelVac when I get round to making it... :P

60 Litre barrel trimmed to about 40 Litres in size
1000w motor (same as my Tristar's motor) fitted to the lid
Use Shop Vac 906-62 bags
HEPA dome pre-filter
A large cylindrical car air filter as a post-filter (kind of how the Tristar has a small engine air filter for it's buttplug filter)
50 feet of 1.5mm thickness blue Arctic cable
Not decided on a hose, but has to be elecric
Eureka Rotomatic VGIII-modded PN (need to shore up the plastic on that thing)
And wheels, have to have wheels... :P

I've actually made a barrelvac very similar to the one described! I also added to it a homemade cyclonic pre-separator inspired (but not built) by the Oneida Dust Deputy or Clearvue Mini CV06. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out how well my homemade cyclone works, for it works so well it basically turned the bag into a final HEPA filter for the super fine stuff, but everything else was separated out.

A bagless version of the Sebo Felix with washable filters and slightly more 'modern' design. As I really like the Sebo for performance (its so much better than Dyson when it comes to brushing up the carpet and suction) but I don't really like the way it looks and the traditional bag system but then I guess that's what makes a Sebo Felix what it is.

I really like my Dyson DC24 for being pretty cool looking but it does a poor job at brushing the carpet and its very noisy, unlike the Sebo Felix. Combine the two would be my dream machine, but thet will never happen lol.

The reason the Sebo Felix is so good is because it is Bagged!

Make it Bagless and you'll make it worse than a cheap Dirt Devil... :(

My Dream vac would be EXPENSIVE!

A Kirby Sentria style vac with an led backlit lcd that displays belt condition, bag fill, brushroll condition, current motor speed, height setting, and "mode"(canister, shampooer, etc) touch sensitive buttons on the handle, laser headlight (bmw made them, why not?)tech drive with a digital motor ,and a carbon fiber fan spun by an 7 amp digital motor.

The Kirby Model C was my dream machine. But I have one now. So the next ones in line for me would be the Kirby Model R, American Lincoln Super Sweep, Kirby ComVac 1300 & 1600, the Aerus Lux Guardian Platinum, and the Rainbow E2 Black.

My dream vacuum

I have many favorite vacuums and this is by no means all of them

But If I had to pick a dream vacuum

It would be either a top of the range MD Silentmaster or a Lindhaus HF6

Depending if a central vacuum install is possible or not
