wireless vacuette

i have a bit of a problem. i got a wireless vacuette and the motor/gearbox was seized. i took the cover off the back of the gear box. caked like melted wax look like it hadn't seen a good checkup in decades. i picked most of the old junk out and got the wheels to turn backwards but not forwards. still stuck. took the big screw out the bottom picked some more and the bearing just fell apart. any hope for it?

gotta show us some pics. ive worked on VERY old cleaners, but without seeing whats wrong its hard to offer help

(i used a sink to take pics. the wheel sits perfectly on the drain so the motor wont turn) there were ball bearings on each end of the worm gear to keep it centered. problem is i dont know what size i need or how to put them in. first pic is the upper part with and without the fan. fifth pic is the bottom part of the gear box

Look at past threads

I did see a past thread discussing this......I know it said not to remove that
screw out...you most likely had no choice.
I can't remember who posted it but it was very detailed and would answer your
question.

yeah

thats the post i saw. i'm wondering if i shouldnt just put it back together as is and just use it as the center piece between my 1c and 2c. thats how it was until a bit ago until i decided to try to get it moving again

The 'melted wax' you saw in there was probably dried up grease. I have scraped that stuff out of old oscillating fan gearboxes and it is often like wax.
I usually replace it with Lucas 'red and tacky' grease.

I want one of those machines some day as well!
