Anybody know who is making these? They sure look familiar.

My guess would be Panasonic is the maker. But with Panasonic now out of the vacuum business, Cleva may have continued making this model as they did with some other Panasonic made Kenmores.

If you can get the full model number and it prefixed with 116 it's a Panasonic model, if it's 125 then it's Cleva.

Thanks Fan. I tried to get full model number but no luck. It's great that Sears always (almost) lists manufacturer for their stuff.

Found it! Its a Cleva. Is that good or bad?

I don't have any experience with Cleva made machines. As far as I can tell they shouldn't be any different from Panasonic. They pretty much just transferred the molds to them. I'm not sure if the motors are any different though.

I have a shop vac style cleaner made by them, gosh many years now, very happy. A late model canister too, Kenmore 400, again happy, sounds like a panasonic motor anyway

I have no experience with what Cleva makes for Sears but I do have a vacmaster wet dry vac and I am very happy with it. I think Cleva makes the Kraftsman wet dry vacs as well, I have two of those and they are very good.
