The Cirrus and Titan models I'm referring to with have heavy duty steel handles. These are their commercial models with the brush roll shut off. The Titan T4000.2 and Cirrus C-CR79 and C-CR99.
Thoughts on Lindhaus Diamante and Comparison with Sebo

With some modification, you could probably have the best of both.
I think I'm not clarifying well enough here. The handles I'm referring to are the grips. The grips on the Cirrus are common to break just like the Simplicity 7 Series. Titan is more sturdy as well but as I mentioned before, there's no switch on the handle. I hate having to bend over to turn a switch on. There was a green Titan model that did had a switch on the handle, in fact they're the copycat handle grips that the Panasonic Jet-Flo uprights used. I wish Tacony kept this one around because I like it more than the current black one.
Having the switch on the body doesn't bother me. Our Hoover Hushtone and Sebo 370 both have the off-on switch on the body. Both are excellent upright vacuums.

I will say Lindhaus has upgraded the hose on the newest Diamante units built within the last couple years or so and made it much longer. I'm not sure if they've upgraded the suction motor as well but given that Lindhaus has upgraded the motors on some other machines (such as the HF6) I would certainly hope so. I think the Diamante has probably the best feature set of any upright currently at that price point even with its flaws. Its strange the Lindhaus uprights aren't as strong suction wise when their canisters, the Aria and HF6, are quite powerful. Probably due to their uprights using only 4.3" 750W suction motor while the Aria and (newer) HF6 use a 5.4" 1200W motor.
I have heard that the motors might be better on the current models. That’s a good size of hose, but it is a bit messy. The new Diamante reminds me of my grandfather’s Windtunnel, he would keep the extension hose on and wrap it around the front. I see that they put that awful hose handle connection on the new version. I have that hose connection on my Healthcare, and I leave it attached as it feels like it might break. I’m not sure that I would be happy with the Diamante for $850 for the 300. I definitely prefer the X4 to the Diamante, I find the X4 to be more user friendly.
The X4 is a residential based machine by now, through all it's changes, but the diamante still has most of it's commercial roots.
While the HF6 went from a two stage motor to a more modern single stage motor, the actual peak air watts of both motors are about the same at 350-360 air watts. For comparison the two stage Ametek motor used in early Patriots and Tristar DXLs is rated at 356 peak air watts, so pretty wimpy. Nothing close to the 510 peak air watts of the motor used in the Aria canister. I have the spec sheets for all three motors somewhere on my computer.
Honestly I think the X4 is a poorly executed vacuum. The automatic height adjustment cannot be overridden to clear large debris like leaves, cereal or dirt clods from your sweet doggies paws. The X4 just pushes them along forcing you to use the spotting hose to grab large debris. On a G4 you just crank the height up to 4 and vacuum the stuff up. The height adjuster takes too long to figure out what height to use and gets confused going from hard floors to carpets or vice versa. Too much frustration for me. I much prefer the basic G4 / G5
