What to do on a chilly winter night

Flat screen in the bedroom, ops. Noisy around me, very light sleeper,I use the timer function to drown out outside till I am asleep. Can't watch it, only listen, side fetal position sleeper!

I'm right there with you David! I usually go to bed with Perry Mason, Adam-12, or some nights with Burns and Allen on in the background, with my back to the screen. I too am a side sleeper and rarely move in the night, evident by the looks of my hair on the left side in the morning. Left side is a train wreck, top and right side undisturbed. Even as a kid in the sixties, I got a GE clock radio as a present for my room and always went to sleep with the timer set, and old habits are hard to break. I wish I had that radio, it was the bomb at the time and kind of a putty color as I remember.

Well, tonight I was at the grocery store

getting last minute things for a dinner party tomorrow evening, I bought another package of....
OVALTINE!! I was thinking about all of ye when I got it.

9 friends and myt aunt for din din. Table is already set, cake is baked, sodabread is baked, beans are in the crock,,,,,,,,,, will be a fun time.
