What model is this?

Wow!!

What a beauty this thing is, I had no idea it would be this clean. Purrs like a kitten too. It was in a downstairs part of the house and it apparently did not see much use. The bag is even perfect on it.

And yes, it is the mysterious U4017. Thanks John Gregory.

Now if I could just find my Filter Queen 200 (hint, hint Tom G).

The Filter Queen 200

I'm getting one for you at the Vacuum Cleaner Collectors Convention in September. It won't be as nice as this Museum piece, but it is a model 200. I'll have to go unlock the files and get you an owners manual (I have more than 1). I am happy to SHARE with nice people.

Re: Reply #7

It's possible that the Model U4035 may have been the yellow one with the floral print bag jacket; although I would think the print would have been from a U4003 or U4007 due to the later production (no online photo available).

What prompted this late response is a recent closed Mercari listing for.a Model U4089 with a U4007-style floral bag jacket print. The U4089 typically has a solid gold bag jacket; it could be that the initial run was originally outfitted with overstock.
