Vintage appliance for sale, but it isn't a vacuum

I found this in my step-dad's garage that we had to clean out. It's pretty neat but we don't need it. It might look nice in a vintage-themed home. It is in really nice cosmetic condition, only showing a light patina from age. There are no chips or broken parts. I tested this and it didn't come on because one of the wires inside the plug has come off, so that needs to be fixed. Other than that, all you need is a shade@

I'm asking $7 OR BEST OFFER, of course that price doesn't include the shipping.
