Very Nice Find: Electrolux Epic 6500 (charcoal gray)

I don't know if my Epic 6500SR has the correct PN (if this is a late model) or should I find the correct PN (like Sireluxomatic's Epic 6500) if the one on mine is not the right one?

Sireluxomatic, nice Epic 6500s you've got there. I too like the Epic 6500SR; I have owned a blue/beige Epic 6500, & now own another in the same color & one in two-tone grey.

Here's my beige Epic 6500SR. Notice the duster's soft rubber "donut" is mis-shaped; I have no idea how that occured. I got the first one from garage sale; which is the same color as this one from eBay (both are blue body, control panel & dial & switch cover; beige trim, hose, tool holder, PN, tools & SideKick)

Another nice thing about the Epic 6500 & 2100 style Luxes is that U can use either the old-style metal wands & pistol-grip hose or the plastic electrified wands & hose with gas pump handle.

Sometimes I use the old style hose/handle on my Epic 6500SR or use the new style hose/handle on my Ambassador. Just make sure the Lux hose (plastic canister) has the "V-notch" on the machine end coupling.
