the vax power 3 is £99.99 and i got one been used one for free truly the best ever hoover i have used in my life its 2100 Watts 280 air watts the exorst air is so powerful it blows the lamp shades around the place on the ceilings
I WOULD RECOMEND THIS VACUUM TO ANYONE

ive had nothing but bad experiences with mine

i have the power 2 and power 5 pets and stairs and they are uncomfortable to use the hose is long but the cleaner springs up when the hose is covered, the tools are unbearably cheap and awful to move the performance is just awful all round really they are extremely loud and are just not a good vacuum, just my 2 cents

My next door neighbour has one of those. Horrible, low efficiency cyclone that clogs up too easilly, awkward to use and it's ridiculously loud.

2100w for an upright is far too much. I've said it before and I'll say it again, higher watts do NOT equal more suction power.

As much as I'm not a huge fan of them, if you want a bagless vacuum, Dyson are the only decent choice. Aside from that, you're best off sticking with a bag.

Sorry, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone - the Vax Power 3 is only good for one thing - clogging up and requiring constant cone filter cleaning. A dreadful hunk of junk.

I had the vax power 4 pet. It was 110 decibels. Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo noisy but it had INCREDIBLE suction!!!
In the end I got pi**ed off with it so I donated it to my local charity shop

yes i do agree it is quite loud and the filter is a bad design and the springy hose but the suction is incredible

Sorry but the fact it blasts exhaust air out that powerfully would annoy me, 280 AW from 2100 is not very efficent either, but glad you like it anyway lol

It's not great if it blows the lamp shades. Sorry, but imagine how much dust it's disturbing in the room and blowing it about.

My Dyson Ball blows hair away from it when on a hard floor because the exhaust is on the side of the ball and its a little annoying but doesn't disturb anything around it.

Sadly thats the problem with a lot of high suction vacuums - not just exemplified by the Vax - Miele's persistence in putting its exhaust right at the top of their cylinder vacs suffers from that too when the settings are set to the highest position - one could easily argue that it depends on high low your ceiling lights are - but at the same time its one design weakness I don't like in particular - I get more of it when I bend down to change the suction setting.

Some of Bosch's cylinder vacuums have a likewise top exhaust but they diffuse the vent for the air to go backwards, away from the controls and not upright.

Yes I have used a Bosch cylinder and had to clean the stairs and it was horrendous!

It was too big to try and balance on stairs, so I had to hold it, and then all the exhaust air was in your face and it was uncomfortable

Also it doesn't come with a brush tool, and the crevice was a bit short.
