I replaced mine with automotive vacuum hose, available at any auto parts store...

Hi Kenkart:

I haven't put it to the test yet, meaning a house cleaning, so I can't tell how quickly it ejects. Aside from activating the ejection process when I place my hand over the suction port it seems to be working fine. So I'm holding off on the repair, after all if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Do I still want the tubing? yes, and there's someone here at Vacuumland who's offered to get me one as a back up as the original is a bit stiff and showing signs of age.
