Hamilton Beach model 14... anyone know what year this is from?

Tools... look like they've been used maybe 4 times.

Funny little GE upright, I know noting about this cleaner... but it intrigues me. Haven't even plugged it in yet.. came with bags!

Kirby model 510. Not sure what year it's from, has most of the tools... cord and handle grip aren't original. $5.

2 Hoover tool sets. 3100 and 3250. Dates printed on the boxes are 1958 and 1963. I hoped the model 31 or 65 that went with the 3100 cleaning tool kit was somewhere to be found, but no luck. :-(

WOW Fred, the bag on that Kirby looks perfect!! This could could be a 509, 510, 511 or 512. I'm gonna throw out a guess, without seeing the sides and back of the machine -- is it a 509?

Oh heheh, I posted my ? before you finished posting your photos. A 510 eh. What would cliched that was if I could have seen the rear end, to see if there's a "Sweet-Aire" port on the back of the Sani-Emptor. I'm just dyin' here over that bag!!!

The model 510 you have here was made in 1950. I'd love to have something like that. Very nice find.

Fred I have the earlier version of the model 14, it was left at the Dump and a friend resurected it for me, unfortunately the bag was toast. I will post up a pic soon

Yes, there is a Sweet-Aire port on the back of the emtor... but the little screwy thing that goes in the hole is missing or broken off. Not sure, I'll have to investigate further.

What color cord would this have had originally? And would the handle grip have been black or red? It's 'Tradition Blue' right now... which seems odd.

Fred, that Kirby 510 of yours is BEAUTIFUL!!!

And I am officially jealous of you right now! To find a 510 in that condition, with the bag as nice as it is, is rare.

Fred,
I believe both cord and handle grip would have been a red color. You could if you wanted to take both off of a Classic III and put thoes on this model. Good luck

Fred, the cord would have been grey with dark red ends.

Actually, the original 510 handle grip was dark gray vinyl, and the cord was dark gray rubber - all the same color as the bumper and headlight trim.

And p.s. the cord had a large round machine-end plug, not the flat one like the cord with the red plugs. So yes the Classic III cord would fit, but it doesn't look right because the "hole" for the plug is much bigger than the plug.

I have seen the GE before, its kinda like the lighter version of the Kenmore Duo. IIRC its quite a bit of power for a little guy. Nice Kirby too!
To bad the 61 or 35 wasn't there to go with the hoses =(
But with you and Rob's luck you will find them. There waiting in closet near you!

I'm going to the wrong sales! The Kirby bag looks virtually pristine. That Hamiliton Beach WITH its attachments....how rare is that?! I remember taking a liking to that GE when it was new in the stores. Could I be right in thinking it was sold at Target?

It seems like everywhere but my area has some good stuff to be found! Those are some awesome machines! And I've never seen that kind of General Electric before! Congrats!
