Eureka

With the recent discussion of Eurekas on this thread, I was wondering if you would have attachment sets for my old Eurekas. I have a 260, a G-2, and (I think) a model 10. Also a nozzle latch for the 10. The one on it is broken and I tried to replace it with a latch from a 505-515 Kirby but it didn't fit. Here are pictures of them. Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff,

The nozzle latch is NO.The upright attachment sets are MAYBE.There should be some from 60s & 50s with cardboard caddys and possibly 30s with long flat box.I have several things from your above list but so far no hose.

Hello FedEx,goodby parts

Some rare vac accessories are out of my building and heading west in a FedEx truck.Which truck is next--your truck?,UPS truck?,FedEx truck? or scrap metal guys big red truck??

Kenmore Ken Karts

I have 5 of these in my collection. All of mine are complete with original attachments & they all run like a top. I was saddened to see all of those ones from A1 going for scrap. Could have used 2-3 of those to cannibalize for spare parts before they went to scrap. the armatures in these excepting the 2 1959-60 wide track at the extreme right never become shorted because Birtman Electric used military grade varnish on the windings. Thans Rugsucker for taking those 5 pictures

Jeff

Please post your 260 photo & a photo of its data plate on thread 44972. Does it have a square or round handle?

Thanks

Hello Chris,goodby vacs-

-Chris made a return trip to the Vac Shop(& a return trip to Ridgewood Barbecue)and left with Reginas,Royal,Viking,Sanitaire,Singer and MORE leaving MUCH for those to follow or wait for the UPS truck.Having a first layer removed helps to see what is in the next layer.Who will be next?!?

Jimmy,

I love the colors of those two DAMs in the last picture! Especially, the green!
You definitely have some neat, unusual machines.
Believe me when I say, it would be impossible for me to get to your store. I simply can’t travel that far. But, if I could, I’d probably need a U-haul! (And, a new place to live, because I’d get thrown out!) LOL

Barry,

There are more, better DAMs in attic in many pretty colors. The Power Drives were shipped in one piece. The handle can be removed on non PD for easier shipping.
Les,
I have had very few wide tracks. All are gone but may have a brush and bottom plate.

Hey Jimmy,
Just checking to see if you got a chance to see if you had anything on my list from 12-14.
No rush of course; just wanted to make sure I was not forgotten in your mass cleaning efforts.
Thanks!

Thanks for the update Jimmy (wow I am late to respond!)
As mentioned, no rush. Glad you are finding some stuff though.
Completeness of the list and clearing out your stash are the important things.
Great news on the G5 hose - hope you have some other nice G5 stuff I need.

The

Old straight suction machine usually a wood with bristles placed bind the nozzle.
You have any old vacuum outer bags not on machines?

Les,

Very few if any straight suction uprights. There will be bags and parts but only after more vacuums are out of the building and out of the way of much more to go.
