More progress

The boxes of all VCCC paperwork arrived at my door. I'll reorganize, etc.
I'll also add the newest names to our "In Memoriam" book, remembering all those who have left us.

Being as organized as possible

with paperwork, signs, etc. makes things go a lot easier. leaving more time to focus on vacuums and our membership.

I potentionally have a

new carpenter to "do the Gallery/cats' apt". My regular guy was just diagnosed w/ throat cancer... might not be a good time to pester him.
It is amazing what I'm finding. There'll be lots to see, buy, trade, etc............
I might even be getting a great surprise from the great friend, Tom Anderson................ right outta N Canton. (vintage, too)

Most, if not all signage

is now laminated. It's clean, reusable, etc. Not being snobbish, but it is nice to add a touch of class to the convention. Well, to everything, for that matter.

I found an "array", if you will

a hand held vacuums. Some mate with the 28, all the way up to Brushvacs and even a "twist vac". Maybe they can be displayed on top of the (covered/protected) piano in June. Must not waste any space. Pic soon, if you'd like.

How does a handheld “mate with a 28”? Are they even anatomically compatible? LOL Or are you referring to them having the same color schemes, being made during the same era, etc?

Yes, I thought about that. I did mean the 'mate' (noun) to the 28. But, with the Helpmate, Floormate, etc. Hoover sure had a lot of "mates'.
Nice to know someone else is paying attention.

I spent a few hours up in the "gallery" this afternoon into tonight.
I found THINGS !!! bags of "bags, belts", etc... Handivacs, tools, a row of 27s and 28s. I found a mint green tool caddy for a Celebrity, plus extra green tools. I also packed tons of Coca Cola items.
Does anyone have any interest in some? There'll be a lot to sell. I also filled a large trash bag. It's good to "clean".

I'm filling a huge bag with bags for "other species&

as Bojacks.I even unearthed my little green trash can.  When I hosted mini meets, I'd put it out for my guests to take.


 


 There are Eureeeeka, Simplicity, Oreck, etc.


  These will be offered free of charge.  At conventions, there are always some genuine Hoover free items, and I take some.  If you take,  I believe, you should also give.


  I'll be glad to have the space!

On a sunny day, I better

bring the 2 Kirby(s), the Electrolux, and that old Westinghouse outside and give them a little rub with a cloth.  Make them presentable for their journeys to new homes!
