The Ugliest Filter Queen?

For sure! When they went from Filter Queen to Filterqueen, that's when it went downhill IMO

Yeah, sometime around there. I should say though, I mean I prefer the looks as the M360 is the only Filterqueen I have seen in person.

For sure. I have seen them all and the new plastic tanks don't impress me.

i have a filter queen model majestic and a dx 31 love both have power head and a long hsoe long cord fitler well with new cones . I love em both equally air flow suction agitation what more do you want

Late 80s-early 90s. The good ones have the steel inner cone. Some 95X Majestic have it but some 80s machines have the plastic (some Canadian 700's and D31X are plastic inner cone) K31X is steel.

D31X are a great machine! Only Majestic I would want is a 95X

i just need the power nozzle for both i put an after market hose on my D 31 x ill add a brown pn 2 electrolux i got recently to it .For the majestic 95 i got for sale i put a interstate pn

For their 50th anniversary, the golden jubilee model filter queen added a feature called the "heat shield" which kept the customer from touching the metal top dome. It was always quite warm after the machine had been used. This is my favorite filter queen, although the model 200 from 1939 would be my second favorite.

How did the heat shield work? Asbestos, metal barrier, something else?

Just the round plastic part with FQ name held down by handle. Is about 1/4 inch tall keeping hands from touching top. Also looks great helping the FQ pictured above with smaller pn to also be my favorite.
