Very nice, Charles!! I really love those older Hoovers...they just speak to me differently than the newer Convertibles, ESPECIALLY the plastic ones. Nice idea with the Sharpie!

BTW: What is that wooden box with 3 tubes sticking out of it? Reminds me of a Nixie Tube clock, but I guess it'd have to have at least another tube added to it. I guess it is some kind of amplifier? Just curious...

guys whats a sharpie when its at home being english

Hi guys fab hoover 800,looks great but whats a sharpie,i have not heard of this term before over here in England.
I think i would like to do this with my 800,not like its going to harm it
