Agreed that round vacs are hard to position on most stairs, but regarding onboard tools, G-E made an optional onboard caddy for its canisters.

Coincidentally, I happened to recently catch LEAVE IT TO BEAVER character June Cleaver vacuum the boys' room with a G-E Swivel-Top. The Season 4, Episode 12 episode, "Beaver & Kenneth" originally aired on December 17, 1960, Based on the attached catalog photo, originally posted by compactelectra in 2007—with the floor and rug tool I recall seeing—I'm guessing it was a Model C-12. That's the best I can do having limited G-E vac knowledge and being caught unawares.

I just checked out that Leave it to Beaver episode...interesting how the hose is being used backwards....the curved end attached to the vacuum body and the straight end into the wands.

Yes I believe some props were definitely shared between show -Some desk lamps , floor plants , and vacuum cleaners, namely a Hoover Dial-A-Matic which I believe was shared between Bewitched and IDOJ
