18" Brush Roll (1979 Style)

This is what the Super-Sweep's brush roll had looked like around 1979. Note the newer-style plastic thread guards... those first appeared on the Classic Omega's brush roll circa 1975 (and thus, the Super-Sweep's - when it was still wearing the "St. Patrick's Day" color scheme).

This picture is credited to the late Austin Wilder.

i have the same problen. i have as i call it the red white and blue machine or as i say thr July Forth special i also need a brush roll forget it. My kirby service man says it is a shame because thats all that goes on themsomeday maybe Doug

Super Sweep (army green/white): 1968 to 1972
Super Sweep ("St. Patrick's" green/white): 1972 to 1976
Super Sweep 180 ("Bicentennial" blue/white): 1976 to 1982
Super-Vac 180 ("Bicentennial" blue/white): 1982 to 1984

KIRBY COMVAC
CVD1300: 1982 to 1984
CVD1600: 1982 to 1984
