Hello everyone.
Just want to give a warning against a seller on the ExxY site.
It's Not a warning of the site it's self. In fact, I'm glad the site offers a dispute process so people can protect themselves in the rare situation of a bad sale.
I purchased a vacuum hose from "vacuum_cleaner_market" in Morgan Hill, CA. on Oct. 22nd.
First there was a problem because they claim they didn't take Paypal "because ebay had discontinued that service for them" something sounded suspicious right there. I've bought lots of stuff over the years, and never heard of that.
Then there was shipping address issues.
Then I noticed the ad had pictures of two different types of hoses for the same advertisement. After bringing this to the sellers attention they quickly removed the photos of the SECOND item.
Then, as they could see the sale was going bad, who ever I was chatting with transferred the sale to ... a supervisor? unknown.
Then I received the item which was yet A THIRD different item.
I contacted them about this and .... no apology, no offer to resolve, just several excuses. And apparently, this was the original person I was chatting with according to the name at the bottom of the email.
I've never had such a thing happen. I don't need that, you probably don't as well. I've involved the dispute process, left negative feedback(something I've rarely had to do), and blocked the entity.
Wishing you all well - Vacuum cleaner wishes and Hepa filter dreams.
