Yes they should be accurate but thats the trouble with the EU rating labels in general - they're not exactly accurate and often causes confusion for buyers, even with larger appliances like washing machines and plenty of other appliances that have to carry then by law.
It has only been three weeks since SEBO updated their site in the UK with the new Eco models Marcus - I think you are being highly unfair. Other brands have the same problem where their ratings don't quite add up.
Also the X has a carbon filter by the motor, so I would imagine that's not where the emissions rating has been taken from. On the basis that the air flows outside of the bag's design on the SEBO and hasn't been updated, the S class filtration and indeed HEPA filtration is far older than the emissions testing process developed by the EU. You have to understand that, surely?
Again with the BAF approval - that was implemented well before ALL of the ratings applied by the new EU law.
