Now I have the VOLT!!!!Love this thing--fun to try it on various vacuums. Its powerful-and you don't need to "lash up" special rigging to make your "Monster Vac"Get the VOLT and ANY vacuum can become a MONSTER VAC!!!So far have used my VOLT on NSS M1,MD Silentmaster, and a BEAM Bagless central unit.Going to try it with the Kirby Avalir in the canister mode-just for fun. Both the dealer and I think the metal wand on the VOLT powerhead should be about 6-8 " longer.Or maybe a collaspeable wand could have been built into the VOLT to allow for height of users and vacuums to use it on.An EXCELLENT unit!!!I am also going to buy one of the Simplicity cordless vacuums, too.

I doubt it Sebo,

power nozzles perform as well on any vacuum. The big difference is the hose. Some low end central vac non electric hoses absorb air power because they compress from lack of rigidity.
When I first installed my system, I took home a standard non electric hose, and a Turbo Cat head. It barely wound up at all.
The electric hose that they exchanged it with had better suction on the palm of my hand. It spins the mini turbo brush I have just fine.

When I tried the Volt with the Kirby in the hose mode, and the NSS M1 it was satisfying to listen to the dirt go thru TWO fans, then into the bag.The Volt could have a great thing going-just that a Monster Vacuum. You have a suction fan in the Volt head-this is close to the floor you are vacuuming-then you have the suction of the "host" vacuum you are using it on.At the Greenville Sewing&Vacuum tried the nozzle on on the "Port-A-Vacs"an MD 650 Central vacuum unit mounted on a janitor cart.Plan of getting one of these for my collection.Used the Volt on that unit and did the whole shop floors-The Volt ate anything in its path.Afterward-felt the bag in the MD vac-it was considerably more full!We can figure the added suction of the Volts fan can make up for losses in the host vacuums hose. And in the Volt operators manual-they tell you to connect the Volt to the host vac before starting it-there is quite an air blast coming out of the Volts wand!Plan to use this machine with my NuTone central vacs-a 450 and 550.So far my experiments have used only one "bar" on the charge indicator of the Volt battery. The large battery can run the unit for a long time-probably an hour continous. The one bar I used accounted for vacuuming the my place, and some experiments.I am going to see how long the battery can last. One bar was used when I vacuumed the vac shop floor.I recharged the machine when I got it home. The vac shop intends to carry these in the future for central customers andn offer it as an option for Port-A-Vacs.Yes,think this nozzle can put a dent in air nozzle sales-and it makes a diffrence-the Volts fan is POWERED-the "fan" in turbine nozzles ROBS power from th host vacuum. The Volt can ADD power to the host machine.
